Lewis W. Westbay Given Final Rites

Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon for Lewis W. Westbay of Farmington, who formerly lived east of Elmwood near Southport. Mr. Westbay died at his home in Farmington Thursday morning, and services were conducted at Farmington by Rev. D. W. Barclay of Savanna. The body was brought to Elmwood, and burial was made in the city cemetery. The Masonic Lodge conducted services at the grave.

Lewis W. Westbay, son of William and Mary Fox Westbay, was born in Trivoli township on August 19, 1862, and passed away in Farmington Thursday, February 18, in his sixty-ninth year.
On December 30, 1896, he was united in marriage with Wilhelmina Wasson, and to them one daughter, Mary Susan, was born. She passed away fourteen years ago at the age of eighteen years.
Mr. Westbay leaves to mourn his death his widow, one brother, nephews, nieces, and a host of friends.
