| FRANK WASSON TAKEN BY DEATH Funeral Services Are Saturday Frank Wasson, 78, a well known resident of Glasford, died at 2 p.m. Tuesday at his home following an extended illness. He was born in Stark county on July 4, 1865, and married Sena Higgs in Farmington Feb. 27, 1895. Mr. and Mrs. Wasson would have celebrated their golden wedding anniversary this month. Surviving are his widow; one son, Harold Wasson of Glasford; and five daughters, Mrs. Helen Lightbody and Mrs. Dorothy Grier Renwick , both of Peoria; Mrs. Mildred Robertson, Brimfield; Mrs Nellie Andrews, Edwards; and Mrs. Geraldine Collins, Glasford; and three sisters, Mrs. Dora Colvin, Peoria; Mrs. Mina Westbay, and Mrs. Sue Schmidt, both of Elmwood. Three brothers, George, Dan and Ollie, and one sister, Mrs. Effie Taylor, died over the past several years. Mr. Wasson held membership in the Methodist church at Edwards. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the residence in Glasford. Interment will be in the Trivoli cemetery. Friends may call at the residence after 3 p.m. Friday. |
