|Funeral Services For Millbrook Resident Are Held Saturday
Funeral services for Lewis Savage, 68, were held in the Bouton Memorial home Saturday afternoon with Rev. James J. Gross officiating. Mr. Savage was laid to rest in the Brimfield cemetery. Pallbearers were Arthur, Leo and Donald McIntyre and Francis, Dale and Merle Savage.
He was the son of Charles and Mary J. Osley and was born August 12, 1883 in Jubilee township and passed away in the Methodist hospital early last Thursday morning following an illness of a year’s duration.
He was a highly respected farmer and for many years farmed in Millbrook township. For the past three years he has lived in the Dunlap Community.
Surviving are his wife, Molly Savage; two sons, Everett and Harold of Dunlap; two daughters, Mrs. Maxine Schimpf and Mrs. Pauline Owens of Peoria; four grandchildren; two brothers, Ray of Yates City and Perry of Brimfield; two sisters, Edith McIntyre of Princeville and Libby Coulter of Galesburg; and a host of other relatives.
