| MRS. EMMA MORROW IS CALLED SATURDAY Mrs. Emma Morrow, 80, well known lifelong resident of Princeville, passed away Saturday evening, September 30, at St. Francis hospital in Peoria, following a stroke she suffered early that morning. Mrs. Morrow had entered the hospital early last week and on Wednesday had submitted to an operation for the removal of a cataract from one eye. She was apparently recovering nicely from the operation, when she was stricken. Funeral services for Mrs. Morrow were held Tuesday afternoon at 2 oclock at the Tretheway funeral home in charge of Rev. A. H. Nothdurft, pastor of the Princeville Methodist church. Interment was in Princeville cemetery. Emma F., daughter of William and Jamamia Martin Alter, was born in Princeville, Ill., April 22, 1859 and passed away at St. Francis hospital in Peoria, Ill., Saturday evening, September 30, 1939, aged 80 years 6 months and 8 days. She was reared and educated in this community, where she spent her entire life. On January 14, 1890, she was united in marriage to Albert Morrow and to this union was born on son, William, who with his wife and two sons Albert and Robert and one step-daughter Mrs. Wm. Ginther survive. Mr. Morrow preceded her in death on October 7, 1932. Mrs. Morrow was a member of the Princeville Methodist church. |
