MRS. A. M. MARLATT DIES

Following an illness of several weeks. Mrs. [Ada Isabelle Denton (Bingham)] "Belle" Marlatt, wife of A. M. Marlatt and a well known resident of this community for many years, passed away at her home in the north part of town Friday morning about 1 o'clock.

Funeral services for Mrs. Marlatt were held Sunday at the Bullock funeral home in charge of Rev. A. A. Rodgers, pastor of the Princeville Methodist church. Interment was in The Princeville cemetery.

Obituary

Belle Denton Bingham was born at Batavia, New York, January 2, 1862 and died at Princeville, Illinois, on Friday morning, June 30, 1939, at the age of 77 years, 5 months and 28 days.

She was united in marriage to Albert M. Marlatt in 1877 and to this union were born two children; Florence, now Mrs. A. B. Ingerson of ????wood, New Jersey and Roy of Galesburg.

She leaves to mourn her passing her life's companion, here and daughter, two grandchildren, Robert and Dorothy Ingerson and a sister Mrs. C. G. Pratt of Lafayette, Illinois.

Mrs. Marlatt had been a resident of this community for the past fifty years.

Note: Belle was the daughter of Martin & Sallie (or Olive?) Bingham.
