Funeral services for Marcus L. Hurd were held Tuesday morning at 10:30 oclock at the Bullock funeral home, with interment in Princeville cemetery.

Mr. Hurd was born Aug. 5, 1862, in Knox county, Illinois and passed away November 25.

He was married to May H. DeBord and is survived by two daughters, Ethel Williams of Edgecombe, S. Dak., and Ruby Derrick of Chicago. He was a member of the Presbyterian church.
