| Mrs. John Hickey, 60, Long An Invalid, Dies in Peoria Friends and relatives of Mrs. John Hickey of Peoria were grieved to learn of her passing, which occurred Saturday at her home at 822 Linn St. Mrs. Hickey had been an invalid for a number of years and always a patient and uncomplaining sufferer. The Rosary was held at Bolands mortuary in Peoria Monday evening with services at St. Cecilias church at 9 Tuesday morning. Burial was in St. Patricks cemetery in Camp Grove. Mrs. Mary Agnes Long, daughter of William and Catherine Long, was born at the farm home in Valley township, April 15, 1881. She was united in marriage to John Hickey at St. Mary of the Woods church in Princeville on April 30, 1901 and two children were born of this union. William of Camp Grove and Edward of Ottawa. Mr. and Mrs. Hickey lived on a farm near Camp Grove until 14 years ago, when they moved to Peoria, where they have since resided. Besides her husband and two sons, Mrs. Hickey is survived by five
grandchildren, Jay, Jerry, Jean and Joyce Hickey of Camp Grove and
Linda Lou Hickey of Ottawa, two sisters, Mrs. William Gill of Speer
and Mrs. Marguerite Megan of Princeville and two brothers, James
Long of Princeville and William Long of Speer. |
