LAST RITES HELD HERE FRIDAY FOR NEWTON FEESER OF LAURA

Last rites for Newton Feeser, 79, who passed away at his home near Laura on Wednesday, January 11, where held at Bullock funeral home in Princeville Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock, in charge of A. A. Rodgers, pastor of the Princeville Methodist church. Interment was in the Princeville cemetery.

Newton Feeser, son of Mr. and Mrs. Emanuel Feeser was born in Pennsylvania on May 17, 1859 and died January 11, 1939 at the home of his son, Walter, near Laura Illinois following an illness of two weeks at the age of 79 years, 7 months and 21 days.

In 1902 he was united in marriage with Anges Westefer and they made their home in the Monica territory for over 10 years. To this union one son, Walter, was born. Mrs. Feeser passed away February 10, 1937. Mr. Feeser is survived by his son and three granddaughters, Audrey, Wanda and Edna and other more distant relatives.
