|ROBERT CLARK CONNELL
Robert C. Connell, 92, died at 1:30 a. m. Sunday at his home in Elmwood.
He was the son of William and Mary Clark Connell and was born in Cambridge, Guernsey County, Ohio, February 17, 1856. He came to Trivoli with his parents in 1860, and until 1905, farmed in that area. He then moved to Elmwood. He was married to Alice P. Graham nee Manock, January 28, 1907. She died January 17, 1935. On August 21, 1936, he married Hattie R. Stevens.
Surviving are his wife; three brothers, George, of Valpariso, Indiana, William, of Kingman, Kansas, and John, of Trivoli; three stepsons, E. T. Stevens, of Valley Center, California, Rogen T. Stevens, of Miami, Florida, and Orie Stevens of Dixon.
He was a member of the Elmwood Odd Fellows lodge.
Funeral services were held at 1 p. m. Tuesday at the Patterson funeral home in Elmwood. Rev. E. T. Palmer officiated and burial was in the Trivoli cemetery.
Russell Remmele presided at the organ. Pall bearers were Louis Opie, Robert Miller, Richard Whitney, Edward Kessler, of Elmwood, Louis and Harry Stalter of Trivoli.
