Mrs. Callister Rites Friday In
Elmwood Funeral services for Mrs. Mabel M. Callister, 50, of Elmwood, who died Thursday in Methodist hospital will be held at 2 p. m. tomorrow at the Clark memorial home in Elmwood. Burial will be in Elmwood cemetery with Rev. E. T. Palmer officiating. Friends may call at the memorial home after noon today. Born Apr. 16, 1901, at Bedford, Ia., the daughter of Milt and Blanche Miller White , she was married to Homer Callister Oct. 13, 1921. She was a member of the Elmwood Methodist church, the American Legion Auxiliary and the Paradise Home Bureau. Surviving are her husband; three daughters, Mrs. Maxine Martzluff of Oak Hill, Mrs. Donna Nelson of Elmwood and Mrs. Thelma Volger of Peoria; one son Wayne, at home; two brothers. Merle White of Elmwood and George White of Peoria; three sisters, Mrs. Florence Maher of Brimfield, Mrs. Marjorie Super of Elmwood and Mrs. Mildred Liggett of Peoria and two grandchildren. |
