Funeral Services for Patrick Byrnes Are Held Thursday

Funeral services for Patrick James Byrnes, 67, were held at 8:30 a.m. today, Thursday, in the Schreiner Mortuary at 9:00 a.m. in St. Clements Catholic church. Interment was in the church cemetery. Rev. Ralph Gates officiated at the Mass. The Rosary was recited in the Schreiner Mortuary Wednesday evening.

Mr. Byrnes, who had been a patient there for the past several weeks passed away at 9:15 p.m. Monday in St, Francis hospital in Peoria.

The son of Patrick and Jane Lynch Byrnes, he was born in Akron township February 12, 1889. He was united in marriage to Grace A. Shehan February 14, 1912.

He is survived by his wife; one son James of York, Pa.; three daughters, Mrs. Lucille Schaeffer of Princeville and Dorita and Colleen of Dunlap; and one sister, Mrs. Ellen Meyer of Dunlap.
