William Robert Bush was born in LeNoir, N. C., February 12, 1867. He was the son of Major Jacob A. and Caroline McCall Bush.

September 20, 1891 he was united with Margaret Cellestine McMullen of Columbia, Ill. To this union seven children were born. One daughter and one son preceded him in death.

Mrs. Bush, four sons and one daughter reside in the Dunlap-Peoria area. In addition to the immediate family he is survived by one brother and one sister in North Carolina, twelve grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.

Mr. Bush was well known in the community as a farmer and stockman as well as for his twenty years service as township supervisor.

He passed away in his home in Dunlap at 6:05 p.m. January 29. Funeral services were held in St. Clement’s church in Dunlap Monday.

Those from a distance attending were: Hammond Jensen, Hugh McMullen and son Dennis, all of Colombia Ill., and Eugene McMullen of St. Louis.

The pallbearers were Z. C. Harlan, Fabian Colgan, Roy Richmond, Ed Colgan, James Byrnes and A. E. Stonebock.
