Rheba Brimblecom

Last Rites Held Friday At Monica Church For Mrs. R. J. Brimblecom

Rheba Catherine, oldest daughter of Louella and Edward Duffy, was born June 1, 1892 at Monica, Illinois and passed away at her home in Monica on September 13, 1939 at the age of 47 years, 3 months and 12 days.

Rheba attended the Monica public school and was always a home-loving person.

On July 4, 1912, she was untied in marriage to Rodger J. Brimblecom of Galesburg, Illinois.
She is survived by her husband; her mother Mrs. Louella Christian; two sisters Anna E. Duffy and Georgia Mitchell and one brother, Emmett Duffy, all of Monica; three nieces, five nephews and numerous other relatives and friends who deeply mourn her passing. Her father and a brother, Cecil preceded her in death.

Rheba or Beck as she was affectionately known by all in the Monica community, had a deep abiding love for her home and family. She loved all children and was never too busy or tired to drop her work and entertain for hours a group of little folks. Her entire life was spent in the Monica community, where she was well known and loved by all.
