Amos A. Bliss

Amos Almon Bliss, 68. Peoria piano tuner fro 35 years, dies at 2 p. m. Monday at his home, 531 California avenue.

A son of Amos and Polly Ann Springdale Bliss, he was born at Yates City Nov. 5, 1878. He married Ethel Enos in Peoria Aug. 31, 1910. Earlier, Mr. Bliss worked as a millwright.

Surviving are his wife; two daughters Miss Helen Bliss, at Home and Mrs. Ruth Sullivan, also of Peoria; two brothers, Albert Bliss of Jackson, Mich., and William Bliss of Klamath Falls, Ore., and two grandchildren. One sister preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. Thursday at the Clugsten memorial home with the Rev. Angus C. Hull Jr., of First Baptist church officiating. Burial will be in Springdale cemetery. Friends may call at the memorial home after 4 p. m. Wednesday.
