| Annie French was born June 22, 1863 near Princeville, Illinois
and passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W. A. Grubb, at
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, on December 12, 1937. On December 24, 1884, she was united in marriage to Newton E. Adams, also of Princeville and to this union were born three daughters and two sons: Flossie, now Mrs. Frank Northern of Los Angeles, California; Lois, now Mrs. W. A. Grubb of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Blanche, now Mrs. J. H. Fearnow, also of Oklahoma City; Glen of Los Angeles, California and Ralph who passed away in 1904. Mr. Adams preceded her in death on June 12, 1914. She is survived by her three daughters and one son, besides many other relatives and a host of friends. Last rites for Mrs. Adams were held in Oklahoma City, following
which the remains were shipped to Princeville and interred in
Princeville cemetery on Wednesday afternoon, Dec. 15, following
brief services at the Bullock funeral home. |
