Jules Schwabacher Dies of Pneumonia
Jules K. Schwabacher, 74-year-old resident of Peoria, died at 11:30 o'clock last
night at Methodist hospital of pneumonia. He resided at 117 West Armstrong Ave.,
and formerly was connected with the Zell-Schwabacher distillery, one of the
first in Peoria.
He was the son of Henry and Virginia Schwabacher and
was born in Peoria in 1863. Surviving are one brother Louis H. Schwabacher of
Peoria, and three sisters, Mrs. Joseph A. Well, Peoria; Mrs. Hettie Reichman,
Brooklyn, N. Y., and Mrs. Florence Messing, Chicago.
