Brunk H. Peters Mr. Peters, the youngest son of Mr. Reinhold
Peters and his wife Etta, nee Beinhoff, was born
Dec. 9, 1886, in Peoria. He attended the
Lutheran St. Paul’s School, the English Lee’s
School and later Brown’s Business School. 4
years he was the clerk at the company Tyng and
Hall in the grain exchange building. On August
1, 1906, he established with his older brother
Theodore at the corner of Smith and Saratoga
road in the grocery and food business they
bought out from E. Furry. When the brothers took
over the business, it was as a whole, completely
down, however in a short time in which they took
possession, already in such a way lifted itself
that their income established a high of $1850 in
the past month of October. With the grocery,
flour and food are connected. Mr. Peters lives
at his parents at 816 Hurlburt road. Translated by Harry Lundell |
