Carl H. Meyer 

was born the 27 September 1855 in Breinum, Amt Marienburg, Province, Hannover. He came to Peoria in the year 1882. He established himself as a “Plasterer” and manufacturer of cement works in 1889. One specialty of Mr. Meyer from that fabrication is “Cement Fence and Hitching Posts.” Since 1883 he has been married to Magdalena Loeser. John and Augusta are the two well-bred children of Mr. and Mrs. Meyer. Mr. Meyer lives at 1016 Smith Street.
