Leo Jaeger

was born on
19 November 1863 in Ettenheim, Baden. He came to Peoria in
1891. In the year 1894 he married Miss Anna Kraus from
Peoria. He established himself as a Baker that same year.
After the bakery had operated with 7 years' success, he sold
his business and became a partner in the company Peter &
Jaeger, proprietors of the famous bowling alleys and hotel
at 501-3-5 South Washington Street. |
